Frederick Winslow Taylor

Frederick Winslow Taylor (March 20, 1856 – March 21, 1915) was an American mechanical engineer who sought to improve industrial efficiency. Scientific Management, also called Taylorism, is a theory of management that analyzes and synthesizes workflows and its development began in the United States with Frederick Winslow Taylor in the 1880s and '90s within the manufacturing industries. Frederick Winslow Taylor is regarded as the father of scientific management.
